A FEW QUICK WINTER SAFETY TIPS!

1. Be very cautious with space heaters. Having pets, children, or any flammable materials too near an operating space heater can be a recipe for disaster!
2. Keep eaves troughs clean and downspouts extended to allow snow melting off your roof to safely drain.
3. Keep your walkway and steps clear of ice and snow. The more punctual you are with this task, the easier it will be!
4. Keep your home’s exhaust vents clear! Locate yours and mark them, so that you know where to find them under the snow. Shovel around them to keep them clear or snow and ice, but use a broom to clear the actual vent to avoid damaging it.
